The operator (the "Operator") of Questa (the "Service") handles personal information of users in accordance with the following policy when providing the Service.
This is an English translation of the original Japanese policy. In the event of any inconsistency, the Japanese version shall prevail.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the handling of personal information in the Service operated by the Operator, including the pages under the website https://questa.tv, the Waitlist registration form, and other related features.
2. Personal Information Collected
The Operator collects the following personal information.
2.1 Information Collected via the Waitlist Form
The Service uses Google Forms provided by Google LLC (the "Form") for Waitlist registration. The following information is collected through the Form:
- Email address
- Language preference
- Intent to use the Service (5-point rating)
- Self-declared user category (viewer / streamer / developer)
- Additional fields based on the category above (streamers you want to watch, streaming platforms, preferred pricing model, games of interest, free-text responses, etc.)
If you include personally identifiable information such as your name, contact details, or affiliation in the free-text fields, that information is also subject to collection.
2.2 Information Automatically Collected on Access
The Service is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc. as the hosting provider. The following technical information is automatically collected and recorded when you access the website:
- IP address
- User agent (browser, OS type, etc.)
- Referrer (referring URL)
- Access date/time and page viewed
- Other technical information related to the connection
2.3 Information Collected via Inquiries
If you contact the Operator at [email protected], the information contained in the email body (email address, name, content of inquiry, etc.) is collected.
3. Purposes of Use
The personal information collected is used within the scope of the following purposes:
- Provision and operation of the Service
- Sending launch notifications and related announcements to Waitlist registrants
- Analysis of usage trends for the improvement of the Service
- Responding to inquiries
- Prevention of unauthorized use and investigation of technical issues
- Responding to requests from laws or public authorities
4. Provision to Third Parties
The Operator will not provide collected personal information to third parties except in the following cases:
- With the consent of the user
- When required by law
- When necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain the user's consent
- When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the user's consent
- When cooperation with a national or local government agency is required
5. Entrustment of Personal Information
The Operator entrusts the handling of personal information to the following entities within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use. Each entity's privacy policy also applies to the handling on their side.

6. Retention Period
- Waitlist registration information: Retained after launch of the Service until the user requests unsubscription. Upon request, the information is deleted within a reasonable period.
- Access logs: Retained according to Cloudflare's standard retention period.
- Inquiry records: Deleted within a reasonable period after the inquiry has been resolved.
- Notwithstanding the above, information is retained for the period required by law where retention is mandated.
7. Rights of the User
Users may make the following requests regarding their own personal information:
- Notification of purposes of use
- Disclosure
- Correction, addition, or deletion
- Suspension or erasure of use
- Suspension of provision to third parties
Please send requests to the contact at the end of this policy. After identity verification, the Operator will respond within a reasonable period.
8. Security Measures
The Operator implements reasonable security measures, including the following, to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information collected:
- Limiting personnel who handle the information
- Selection and supervision of entrusted entities
- Access control and appropriate management of credentials
- Encryption of communication channels (use of HTTPS)
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Service uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 for analytics purposes. Through cookies and similar technologies, the following information is collected:
- Pages viewed, time spent, referring URL
- IP address (only geographic region is shared with the Operator after Google's anonymization)
- Browser, OS, device type
- UTM parameters to identify traffic sources
These do not directly identify individual users and are used solely for aggregated analysis to improve the Service.
Consent Acquisition and Google Consent Mode v2
The Service displays a banner on first visit to obtain consent for cookie use. Google Analytics 4 cookies function only if the user selects "Allow." If the user selects "Deny," only aggregated information that does not identify individuals is sent to Google, based on Google Consent Mode v2.
The consent state is stored in the browser's localStorage and can be changed at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer.
Cloudflare's Technical Cookies
Apart from the analytics cookies above, minimal cookies may be used for technical or security purposes due to the nature of Cloudflare delivery. These are not subject to consent.
10. Revisions to this Policy
The Operator may revise this Policy as necessary. Material changes will be announced on the Service's website. The revised Policy takes effect from the time it is posted on the Service.
